A Sign in the Heavens – A Woman Clothed with the Sun

By Dr. Ken Klenk

On TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5th at 6:30 pm in St. Mary’s Hall, Salem, Dr. Ken Klenk will give a presentation describing the sign that will appear in the sky this September 23, 2017 – a sign that closely meets the description of the sign given in the Book of Revelation 12: 1-2: “And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon was under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars. And being with child, she cried out in her travail and was in the anguish of delivery.”

Using astronomy software that can represent the positions of the planets and stars as viewed from the Earth, Dr. Klenk will show how Jupiter, the king planet, representing Christ, is in the midsection of the Virgo constellation for 9-10 months. Jupiter exits the midsection in September and, on the 23rd, the constellation Virgo will rise with the Sun with the Moon will be at the ‘feet’ of Virgo. In addition, Virgo will have a crown of 12 stars (the Leo constellation with 9 stars and the 3 planets Mercury, Venus and Mars).  Some thoughts on the sign mentioned in Revelation 12:3-4 will be presented.

He also discusses another sign in the heavens – a candidate for the Star of Bethlehem – a astronomical event that happened in 3 to 2 BC.  Time permitting, he will talk about the apparition of Our Lady of Fatima.

All are invited and encouraged to attend this presentation in St. Mary’s Hall, Salem, on Tuesday, September 5th at 6:30 p.m.
